Role Overview
We are looking for a skilled Backend Developer to design, develop, and maintain scalable and
secure backend applications and APIs. The candidate will work closely with frontend developers,
architects, QA teams, and business stakeholders to deliver reliable enterprise applications.
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain backend applications and RESTful APIs.
Develop scalable, secure, and high-performance server-side applications.
Work with databases for data modeling, queries, optimization, and transaction management.
Integrate third-party APIs and enterprise systems.
Implement authentication, authorization, and application security best practices.
Troubleshoot application issues and optimize backend performance.
Write clean, maintainable, and reusable code.
Participate in code reviews, technical discussions, and architecture/design activities.
Work closely with frontend developers to integrate APIs and backend services.
Develop unit and integration tests.
Support application deployment and production issue resolution.
Maintain technical documentation for APIs and backend components.
Required Skills
Core Technical Skills
Strong proficiency in Java / Python / Node.js.
Good understanding of REST APIs, JSON, HTTP/HTTPS.
Strong knowledge of SQL and relational databases such as MySQL/PostgreSQL.
Experience with Git/GitHub/GitLab.
Understanding of authentication mechanisms such as OAuth 2.0, JWT.
Good understanding of object-oriented programming and software design principles.
Experience with API integration and third-party services.
Cloud & DevOps – Good to Have
Experience with AWS / Azure / GCP.
Docker and containerization.
CI/CD pipelines.
Basic understanding of Kubernetes.
Experience with cloud-based application deployment and monitoring.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
2–4 years of relevant backend development experience.
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
Good communication and collaboration skills.
